Thai Yoga

Thai Yoga is a form of bodywork that is over 2,500 years old.
It is a dynamic form of bodywork based upon yoga and Ayurveda practices. In this unique healing system of Thai Yoga, the practitioner guides the client through a series of yoga postures, while using the palms, thumbs, feet and other to open up the body’s energy lines and pressure points. Together these actions result in a comprehensive full body treatment that relieves muscular tension, stimulates circulation, enhances relaxation, and balances the body energetically.

Thai Yoga is practiced as a duet. Counterbalancing and levering the recipient's body with their own, the practitioner works with gravity, breath, and directed touch to create a harmonious and therapeutic "dance" with the recipient that imparts physical vibrancy, grace, and spiritual energy.

Thai Yoga is performed on a mat on the floor; both client and practitioner are dressed in comfortable clothing allowing ease of movement and flexibility.
